Building a Better Solution
We took all of this feedback into consideration when building our Xoba Bookmark Cards. We wanted to create a method that felt more fluid, easier to organize and access ‘in the now’ information, and a way for people to share this information in an instant.

Xoba Bookmark Cards give our users the ease and convenience they are asking for. These Cards make it simple and effortless to add, edit, and remove information and share it with colleagues, friends, and customers.
How Bookmark Cards Are Used
You can use Bookmark Cards to group and organize anything that has a URL (e.g. a website).
- Manage and organize information for active projects
- Categorize frequently accessed items (e.g. dashboards)
- Organize customer information into a single view (e.g. work orders, specifications, contracts, etc.)
- Present on-boarding docs for new employees
- Group relevant documents in preparation for a meeting
- Create a collection of files/docs that's relevant to a specific product or feature
- Categorize administrative items (e.g. strategy, stand-ups, goals, etc.)
Getting Started
Getting started with Xoba Bookmark Cards is simple. Once you create a Xoba account, select the ‘Add Card’ option on your home screen and select ‘Bookmark’ as the type. Name it whatever you want, and start adding items to your Bookmark Card.
Adding information to a Card. There are a few ways you can add items to a Bookmark Card.
- Directly via a URL - Copy/Paste a URL and name it. Xoba supports any URL as long as it’s secure (HTTPS). You can add any URL even if we don’t natively support the application.

- From a Xoba search result -When searching in Xoba, you can save any search result directly to a Bookmark Card and reference it later. You can also add a result to multiple Cards at once.

- Via the Chrome Extension - If you’re on a webpage (e.g. doc, report, task) that you’d like to save for later, open our Chrome Extension and instantly add it to a Xoba Card without having to leave your webpage and disrupt your workflow.


Sharing
Sharing information has never been easier. Once you’ve set up your Bookmark Card, you can share it with your colleagues in just a couple of clicks. On the Card, select the ‘Share’ icon to create a link and then share it in an email, a chat, a calendar or wherever. The receiver can open the URL and access the Card without having to create an account.

NOTE: If the receiving party does not have access to the underlying item in the Card, you will have to grant them permission. For example, if you didn’t give them access to a Google Drive Doc, they won’t be able to access it even if you shared it in a Xoba Card.
