Search Your Heart Away
With a quick keyboard shortcut (Alt + X) or just by clicking on the Xoba icon in your menu bar, you can kick-off a search wherever you are. Our cross-application search makes it easier than ever to find information in an instant wherever it lives. Stop searching each of your applications individually, and use Xoba to search and discover the information you’re looking for quickly and efficiently.
Even if you know that you want to search in a specific application, Xoba’s extension allows you to search directly in that application without having to navigate there first. Why wait for Google Drive to load, search, and then open up your doc? With Xoba, you can launch a search regardless of which tab you’re in and hop directly into your document.
Add Items to Xoba Bookmark Cards
Xoba Bookmark Cards are a great way to organize related documents, files, conversations, reports, and more into a single view. Are you running a project that contains information across multiple applications? Add all of these items to a Xoba Bookmark Card and stay organized.
With our Chrome Extension, you can add the tab you’re currently working on to a Xoba Bookmark Card. It’s as simple as opening the Xoba Chrome Extension, selecting the “Save Page to Card” button, and selecting the Card you want to add the URL to. Boom. Next time you open a new tab or launch the web application, you’ll see the item you’ve just added to the Card. Easy.
Quickly Launch Into Your Docs, Reports, and More
With our Chrome Extension, Xoba will open when you create a new tab—allowing you to utilize the cross-application search or access an item in any of your Xoba Cards. All the items in Xoba Cards are deep links to applications, reports, files, and more. So, when you click on an item, Xoba will launch the link in a new tab and take you directly to where you want to go. Minimize the clicks to get to the information you need most.
We’ve made this an option for you. If you prefer not to have Xoba take over your new tabs, go to the options, and toggle the feature off.
NOTE: In order for you to use the Chrome Extension, you need to accept Google’s permissions of allowing Xoba to manage your tabs and view your browsing history. While we do not look at or store your browser history, Google requires us to request permission to do so in order for Xoba to be your default new tab view.
